Sore Throat

Sore throats are extremely common, with each adult experiencing two to three episodes each year. They are commonly caused by viral or bacterial infections, however, physical irritation, acid reflux and medications can also cause a sore throat.

This refresher course will provide an overview of the condition with a specific focus on:

• Differential diagnosis of a sore throat
• Evidence based treatments for sore throats caused by viral infections
